HNST Mold Inspections has been conducting independent mold inspections for over 14 years. We work with mold sensitive clientele and understand the importance of identifying all problem areas within the home.
As of 2023, John Skelly, an IEP (indoor environmental professional) has over 19 years of documented industry field experience, with over 5 of those years working on the mold remediation, water damage restoration and air duct cleaning side of the industry, and to date has completely over 6000 mold inspections, environmental inspections and IAQ surveys.
We provide detailed documentation of your situation and a case specific mold remediation protocol/plan and air quality reports and help our client understand the remediation process and their options.

Honesty & Integrity
Our goal is to help the client, not sell the client.
Sadly, there is an overemphasis within our industry to sell as many mold samples as possible.
Our process is to find the mold contamination and any sources of moisture or allergens within the building, not to sell you mold samples!
Mold testing/sampling can be a helpful tool in the overall evaluation of the home but is more often not necessary if mold is already visible. Depending on the situation mold samples are sometimes required for documentation purposes, litigation, a medical reason, comparative mycotoxin data, etc.
